Color Consultation

color fanAn important step in the process of building your wardrobe is determining what colors, patterns, and textures are the most flattering (and which to avoid). Julie, a trained color consultant, analyzes numerous factors in customizing your personal signature palette. Then, with the palette as a guide, Julie shows you how to select clothes that will mix and match to create many more outfits. You’ll soon find you look your best all the time, even in your most casual outfits. Many clients go on to use their signature palettes when home decorating as well. Why not be surrounded in the colors, patterns and textures that suit you best and just feel right?

“I thought you would enjoy seeing our photo since we all used our fans to coordinate our tops.  I think the end result is proof of how perfectly the fans work. Thanks so much, we continue to shop with our fans.”
(Note: Sara was so pleased with having her colors done that she hired Julie to do her husband, son, daughter, mother, two sisters and a niece.)

“I have shopped with confidence since getting my color fan from Julie.  For the first time, I was able to shop at Macy’s without getting overwhelmed and going home with a headache.  I was able to skip over 90% of the clothes as not being right for me and hone I right away on the items that would look good on me.  What a pleasure!”

Closet Consultation

An important step for many clients is a visit to your own closet. It’s important to see what makes you look and feel great, and to learn what we can build on from your current wardrobe. Together we will explore those outfits you’re not really sure of and identify the styles and colors that suit you best. We’ll weed out the less flattering items, and find those pieces we can work with to make great new outfits.

“I had a great time with you this week. I showed Debby my stash and she shares my enthusiasm. You have a wonderful way of being encouraging but not pushy.”

“I generally hate shopping because I don’t have the time and I don’t keep up with what’s in style, so I’m not really confident in what I buy. I wasn’t sure about this personal shopper thing, but willing to give it a try. Well, I’m now a true believer! Shopping with Julie was not only loads of fun, but she helped me put clothes together in a way I never would have thought of. And the clothes I purchased are not only stylish, but they go together, so I can mix and match to make a lot of different outfits. It was definitely worth the money.”

“I travel extensively for my job, which involves supporting education in over 165 countries.  I often need to look my best shortly after landing even though I have to haul my own luggage and fly coach for frugality.  Luggage space is a premium, but I often have to handle a variety of climates and social customs on each two-week trip.  Julie has been my savior, helping me design a mix-and-match wardrobe that packs easily, stays presentable but always appropriate for a variety of business and political situations.  With her advice, I always feel confident I present the right image, without having to spend precious time and mental cycles worrying about my appearance.  I recommend her advice highly!”
